HTC Edge World First Quad Core Powered Smartphone Coming

HTC is going to set a new standard in mobile phone industry with the launch of a quad-core powered Edge Smartphone.It will be the World First smartphone which will come with quad core power. Not only the processor but other specs of Edge are also outstanding. According to rumors, this handset will feature with a 1.5-gigahertz NVIDIA quad core processor and a 4.7-inch 720p HD S-LCD 2 display with optical lamination.

HTC Edge will bring an 8-megapixel camera capable of 1080p video capture same as of HTC Ville. It will bring a 720p front-facing camera, Beats Audio, 32-GB of built-in storage and NFC technology. Every detail about this handset is only provided by rumor mill and HTC didn’t confirm any thing. We haven’t any idea when exactly we will be able to see the launch of quad-core powered HTC Edge. Another thing which grabs our attention toward this handset is optical lamination technology which will provide us a clear cut viewing angles. It is reported that the display of Edge will give the same clarity as given by iPhone 4S. HTC has not confirmed reports about the Edge, and no information on price, release date or potential carriers has been announced. There is a possibility that HTC launch this smartphone in mid-late 2012. Although many people were adding quad core device as the future phone but after the rumor of Edge we can say that this future is not so far.
