Nokia N9 and N5 get the Approval of FCC

/*Comments Off on Nokia N9 and N5 get the Approval of FCC */

Nokia N9 and N5 have approved by the FCC but there is nothing which seems more interesting as neither of them will be a Windows Phone 7 Device. However, I informaed you about Nokia Sea Ray which  may be a handset runs on WP7 OS platform. Nokia N9 is a MeeGo based device while that of Nokia N5 will provide support to Symbian Anna. You may have an idea about N9 as it announced last year but about N5 you don’t know anything. For your information, the latter device is still not announced by the manufacturer and it is also named as Nokia RM-701.

Nokia N5 and N9 will provide support to US-friendly 3G connectivity (850 / 1700 / 1900 MHz) and this feature make it clear for us that the devices will be launched by either AT&T or T-Mobile. You can check the N9′s User Manual and its internal photos here.

As far as availability is concerned, I don’t know anything about the targeted markets of Nokia N9 while Nokia N9 will start shipping in the selected markets by the end of this year.
