HTC EVO 3D is a famous Android handset among the mobile phone users and now we have got the information about the successor of HTC EVO 3D. This successor would be launched by the end of this year. The name of successor is HTC EVO 2 about which we heard some news at the start of 2011. Now this upcoming mobile phone of 2011 has been confirmed by an official press release issued by video game developer Rockstar Games. Actually, company mentioned mobile versions of games which will hit the handsets this fall. The company highlighted the name of handsets which will support these games and HTC EVO 2 is apparent among these mobile phone names. Here are devices name:Droid X2, HTC Evo 2, LG Optimus 2X, Motorola Atrix, and Samsung Galaxy S II. Now it becomes clear that HTC is working on EVO 2 although we have not the clear information about exact specs of it.

According to some guys over at Tech God ,  there is a possibility that EVO 2 will be launched in  December 2011. we have some unofficial specs detail of EVO 2 i.e. it will run on a Qualcomm 2.5GHz processor but we are not sure whether it will a single core or a dual core processor. The internal memory of handset will 32GB and for getting for space you can get help from a microSD card slot which can increase memory up to 64GB. There will be dual-cameras, one is 10 MP rear camera and second a front facing camera for video calling and chat.

It is reported that this upcoming cell phone of 2011 would have the power to sync wireless with iTunes and also to print from the phone via Wi-Fi connection.  Although HTC EVO 3D launched by Sprint but it is possible that HTC EVO 2 will be headed to some other carrier such as AT&T or Verizon.
