HTC Explorer Will Hit the India on September 29
/* */HTC Explorer was in news and rumors from many days with another name HTC Pico and just today I have got some latest information regarding this device. According to recent report, Explorer will first hit the India on September 29 and then it will roll out in other Asian countries and UK and US territories by the end of this year. However, there is a possibility that it will release in different territories with different names.
Some guys of BGR reported that HTC Explorer will be unveiled a launch event held by HTC India on September 29, in New Delhi. This event has been publicized on the HTC India’s Facebook page but nothing is mentioned about Explorer or Pico rather there is a contest on this page, the winner of which will get an entry pass to the launch event of HTC. This event will be hosted by HTC’s president of global sales and marketing, Jason Mackenzie, who will surely make a global announcement.
Although there are no official details about the complete features and specs of Explorer yet I have some unofficial data for you. According to rumors this new handset will have low-end hardware configuration so will get power from a low performance 600 MHz processor while design with a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels resolution.
HTC Explorer will pack with a 5-megapixel camera, as well as 384 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM. What is best thing about HTC Explorer is that it will run on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.5 user interface layered on top.
Price and Release date of HTC Explorer:
There is no information about the price of this handset but it is expected that this low end device may release by many carrier free of cost and with a contractual agreement. It will make official in India possibly on 29 September.
