HTC Quattro is a codename of company’s first quad core tablet. We have got the specs and image detail of this tablet for you. You can check the image below. This tablet looks a general slate nothing is special about design. It will come with Nvidia’s new Tegra 3 quad-core processor. Its 10.1 inch display will deliver the resolution of 1280x 768 which is less as compared to standard 1280×800 resolutions of standard Android tablets.

HTC Quattro Quad-core Tab will featured with 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of built-in storage space, microSD expansion, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, a 2 MP rear camera with 1080p HD video recording support, a front-facing 1.3 MP camera with 720p HD video support. It is around  9 mm thin. There are two speakers and two microphones which are requisite if you want to enjoy Beats audio technology with it.

Now about operating system and UI of Quattro, this tablet will surely feature with a latest UI on the top of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Although nothing is mentioned in leaked specs about both yet we are just hope for latest UI and ICS. You will find an HD version of the HTC Watch app, a Dropbox account, and HTC Scribe pen input technology along with it.

Release Date of HTC Quattro: The device is tagged with ‘early 2012′ tag but we have no idea whether it is release date or announcement date. It is possible that HTC announce this tablet at CES 2012 and release in first quarter of next year. On the other hand, HTC may announce this quad-core tablet at MWC 2012 and its shipment is possible in second quarter of this year.

HTC has a plan to launch two version of HTC quad core tablet; one is Wi-Fi only and second is Wifi plus 3G version.
