Samsung Smartphones and Tablets with Flexible Screen Launched in 2012

We are getting bored with rigid touchscreen of Smartphones and tablet now we need something new and flexible and good thing is that Samsung and Nokia have understood this newest need of new generation. I already informed you aboutNokia Flexible Kinetic Display Prototype which was showcased at Nokia World 2011 inLondonbut just now Samsung surprised us. Want to know how?

Samsung is working on Flexible Display for its 2012 smartphones and Tablets. Check what Samsung Spokeman, Yi said  “The flexible display, we are looking to introduce sometime in 2012, hopefully the earlier part,” said spokesman Robert Yi during an earnings call. “The application probably will start from the handset side.”

Yi also added “tablets and other mobile devices with flexible displays would follow.”

After reading these official words you surely get excited as we will be able to buy a handset or tablet with Curved display in first or second quarter of 2012. These flexible display can easily be bent and add great comfort in the form of easy navigation and usage.

It is quite certain that other mobile phone manufacturers will also have to use the similar or some new technique if they want to compete well with Samsung in 2012. Apple has a plan to launch iPhone 5 in 2012 and undoubtedly this company has to think twice about the screen technology of iPhone 5 just after when Samsung has shown its intention to launch Flexible screen Smartphones and Tablets.

Now we have to wait and watch what mobile phone makers bring for us in upcoming year.
